Our customer was undergoing long D365 CE implementation that was consistently delayed due to its complexity and regulatory compliances. There were several challenges with regards to integrations with external applications. Large amount of user stories were not completed causing delays in implementation of critical areas. Moreover lack of competent consultants was making the situation worse as it was adding to increasing capital expenditures.
Approach And Solution
Agilitz team was brought in as a specialist to salvage the program. We started worked closely with the client's IT team and key stakeholders to deploy D365 solution effectively and within 4 months. We laid the foundations by advising on the overall architecture consulting, development and testing. We adopted a POC based approach for every functionality and got the necessary approvals from the users to accelerate the process of development and implementation. In parallel we also focused on standardising integrations with external systems like DVLA to reduce maintenance cycles and improve reusability.
Agilitz deployed a team of 5 consultants including solution architects, developers and testers who completed the implementation within the timeframe while keeping a tight control on expenditures.
